• Pattern: uri-1 RNA transcript is detected in worms with masculinised [fem-3(q20)] and femininised [fem-1(hc17)] germlines but not in glp-4(bn2) worms that lack nearly the entire germline. Therefore, consistent with a function in germline development, uri-1 is a germline enriched transcript that is expressed in both types of gametes.
