Expression Pattern :

Pattern  PMK-2 expression was mostly restricted to the nervous system; PMK-2 expression was detected in head, body, and tail ganglia as well as the nerve ring and ventral nerve cord. Faint and diffuse expression of PMK-2 was also observed in the distal tip cell and spermatheca at levels much lower than observed in the nervous system. Importantly, PMK-2 expression was excluded from the intestine, where PMK-1 functions solely in innate immunity. Primary Identifier  Expr12211
