neuron of the pharyngeal nervous system. pharyngeal neuron   WBbt:0005439
A set of three longitudinal nerves (I1L, NSML and M2L) running along the anterior/posterior axis within the pharynx, each lying within a narrow groove created between syncytial pairs of muscles. One nerve lies dorsally, in close apposition to the dorsal gland duct, while the other two nerves lie subventrally. pharyngeal nerve   WBbt:0005441

Expr12337 In worms expressing mgl-2::GFP as an extra-chromosomal array GFP fluorescence was identified in the nerve ring, tail neurons and the pharyngeal nervous system, where it was expressed in NSML/R. The analysis of mgl-2::GFP transgenic lines also identified GFP expression in the glutamatergic pharyngeal neuron I5, anterior and posterior intestine, pharyngeal-intestinal valve and pharyngeal muscle. However, the expression of GFP in these tissues was not consistent between transgenic lines analysed.
Expr14241 Analysis of the desheathed pharynx identified co-expression of mgl-1::GFP and ptp-1::mRFP-1 in the pharyngeal nervous system.
Expr14242 Analysis of the desheathed pharynx identified co-expression of mgl-1::GFP and ptp-1::mRFP-1 in the pharyngeal nervous system.
