Expression Pattern :

Primary Identifier  Expr14866 Subcellular Localization  The endogenous UNC-40::GFP protein localized diffusely along the plasma membrane, but also formed prominent punctate clusters at the cell periphery. Consistent with the role of UNC-40 in protrusion formation, quantification showed that these UNC-40 clusters predominantly localize at the leading edge of the polarizing Q cell. Of note, we found that these clusters dissolve when the Q neuroblast divides, but reappear at the leading edge of the migrating daughter cells QR.a and QR.p.
