Phenotype Remark  Somatic gonad defect defined by short and bloated gonad arms. In this defect, the width of the proximal gonad arm was greater than half the width of the body cavity and the DTC stopped shortly after the dorsal turn. The increased incidence of this pat-3 -dependent defect in these mutants (compared to pat-3 in wildtype) suggests that compromised Rac signaling makes these animals hypersensitive to loss of integrin activity.
