Phenotype Remark  "Next, we performed RNAi against a set of 10 knockdowns previously shown to produce embryonic lethality [icd-1 (inhibitor of celldeath), snr-6 (small nuclear ribonucleoprotein), npp-20 (nuclear pore complex protein), vha-9 (vaculolar ATPase), nap-1 (nucleosome assembly protein), ufd-1 (ubiquitin fusion degradation), fnta-1 (farnesyltransferase), pbs-2 (proteasome b-subunit), cyb-2.1 (cyclin B), and crn-1 (cell death related nuclease)]. In each case, we found embryonic lethality as expected. When these genes were knocked down in fully developed adults, we further found both increased protein degradation and loss of mitochondrial reticular structure but no defects in the sarcomere structure."
