RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00101780 Genotype  jjIs1475(myo-3::rfp) I; rrf-3(pk1426) II; ccIs4438 (intrinsic CC(CoelomoCyte)::gfp) III; ayIs2(egl-15::gfp) IV; ayIs6(hlh-8::gfp) X
Phenotype Remark  Postembryonic RNAi targeting ceh-34 resulted in adult animals lacking the two posterior (M-lineage derived) coelomocytes (CCs), as indicated by loss of expression of the 'intrinsic CC::gfp' coelomocyte marker in the posterior of the adult animal. The M lineage was followed in these animals using the hlh-8::gfp reporter and anti-FOZI-1 immunostaining, and normal cleavage orientations and proliferation were observed in the M lineage. However, at the 18-M stage, both M.drpa and M.dlpa were transformed from CCs to body wall muscles (BWMs; as observed using myo-3::rfp) in 10 of 11 animals examined, while the remaining animal had only one CC transformed to a BWM (data not shown). Remark  (Figure 1B,D, Table 1) ceh-34 RNAi-P (postembryonic RNAi)

5 Phenotype

Identifier Name Description
WBPhenotype:0000095 M lineage variant The descendants of the M precursor cell exhibit variations in developmental programs compared to their counterparts in control animals. In C. elegans the M lineage is a postembryonic mesodermal lineage.
WBPhenotype:0000961 pattern of transgene expression variant Any variation in the cellular or subcellular pattern of expression of a gene product produced by exogenous DNA that has been introduced into the organism compared to its expression in control animals.
WBPhenotype:0000414 cell fate transformation The cell takes on a different identity from which it was initially committed.
WBPhenotype:0000852 coelomocyte development variant Variations in the progression of a free-floating spherical cell lying in the pseudocoelomic cavity of animals that can endocytose many compounds, possibly for immune surveillance, over time from an initial condition to a later condition compared to control animals.
WBPhenotype:0001912 fewer coelomocytes The number of coelomocytes are reduced compared to control animals. Coelomocytes are free-floating spherical cells lying in the pseudocoelomic cavity of animals that can endocytose many compounds.

Identifier Name Description
WBPhenotype:0000669 sex muscle development variant Variations in the progression of the muscles of the adult reproductive system over time form their initial formation to their mature structure compared to control.
