Phenotype : WBPhenotype:0001881 endoplasmic reticulum symmetry variant early emb

Description  Any variation in the normally asymmetric distribution of the endoplasmic reticulum during cell divisions of the early embryo. The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is an irregular network of membranes, that occurs in the cytoplasm, and forms a complex meshwork of tubular channels. The ER has two forms, rough (or granular), with ribosomes adhering to the outer surface, and smooth (with no ribosomes attached).
