Expression Pattern :

Pattern  Expressed in head neurons, distinct staining was observed in certain neurons that did not show GFP expression. The signal was seen to originate bilaterally from the mouth region, extend along the body, and eventually terminate at the tip of the tail. It appears to be nerve cords since staining of the neuronal branches between these cords were also observed. Besides neuronal staining, antibody was shown to stain muscle cells. Staining was weak, yet distinct in the muscle quadrants of the worm showing prominent muscle striations beginning at the head region, and extending to the tail regions. Primary Identifier  Expr1249
Subcellular Localization  Antibodies also detected bright punctate objects in the spindle poles of mitotic cells during metaphase in the embryos, which were identified as centrosomes.
