WormMine

WS295

Intermine data mining platform for C. elegans and related nematodes

Expression Pattern :

Pattern  vps-52 is expressed strongly and widely in neurons and was also expressed in several other tissues, including the pharynx. Primary Identifier  Expr12990
Subcellular Localization  VPS-52 localized mainly to two or three perinuclear puncta in neuronal cell bodies, reminiscent of the localization of RAB-2, RUND-1 and CCCP-1 to the trans-Golgi. Colocalization of VPS-52::tagRFP with GFP-tagged RAB-2 showed that they are partially overlapping in worm neurons, consistent with the reported localization of GARP to the trans-Golgi in other cell types and other systems.
