Remark  Northern hybridization experiments reveal that the wee-1.3-encoded 2.4 kb mRNA was found in fem-1(hc17lf) hermaphrodites, which do not make sperm, as well as fem-3(q23gf) hermaphrodites, which make sperm but no oocytes.
