Expression Pattern :

Pattern  A plasmid containing 489 bp of the wild-type mtl-1 promoter driving expression of GFP protein was generated and introduced into transgenic worms. In the absence of supplemental zinc, transgenic animals displayed low level, variable GFP expression in the pharynx and no detectable GFP expression in intestinal cells.
