• Pattern: Expression of rdl-1::gfp was restricted to anterior ciliated sensory neurons. Among the rdl-1-expressing neurons are neurons that mediate diverse chemosensory modalities (ASGs, AWBs, AWCs, and BAGs) and AFD thermosensory neurons. We did not detect expression of rdl-1::gfp in ASH and ADL neurons, suggesting that while rdl-1 is expressed broadly in the sensory nervous system, it is not expressed in all sensory neurons and might not be expressed by sensory neurons that do not use cGMP signaling.
