Expression Pattern :

Pattern  No expression of GLF-1::GFP was seen in early embryogenesis. GFP first became visible at the four-fold embryonic stage, after completion of cuticle synthesis and approximately one hour before hatching. The signal was then seen throughout post-embryonic life. Expression was limited to the hypodermal cells. L4 larvae and adults showed much stronger expression of GLF-1::GFP in the seam cells as opposed to the main hypodermal syncytium and head and tail hypodermal cells. Primary Identifier  Expr8792
Remark  Picture: Fig. 5. Subcellular Localization  High resolution confocal micrographs of individual seam cells expressing the translational fusion indicates that GLF-1::GFP localizes to the cytoplasm.

The first stage larva. At 25 Centigrade, it ranges 14-25.5 hours after fertilization, 0-11.5 hours after hatch. L1 larva Ce WBls:0000024
The C. elegans life stage spanning 620-800min(hatch) after first cleavage at 20 Centigrade. Cell number remains at ~560 cells, with some new cells generated and some cells go through programmed cell death. A stage after elongation is over. The last stage of embryogenesis. Also called pre-hatched embryo, late embryo or morphogenetic embryo. fully-elongated embryo Ce WBls:0000021
