Expression Pattern :

Pattern  GFP was first observed in the descendants of the primordial germ cells in the early L1 larva. While GFP fluorescence was observed in the cytoplasm, stronger, punctuate fluorescence around the nucleus was unmistakable. This expression pattern continued through L2 and L3 stages. At L4 and adult stages, GFP expression was strongest in the mitotic germ cells and gradually decreased as the germ cells progressed through meiosis. Primary Identifier  Expr8707
