| Subcellular Localization | An enrichment of endogenous DYN-1 at the anterior cortex of one-celled embryos. in addition to the cleavage furrow and midbody accumulation reported previously. The mid-focal plane images showed that DYN-1bFL-GFP localized to the anterior cortex and newly formed furrow membrane, as observed for the endogenous DYN-1. DYN-1bFL-GFP was distributed throughout the entire cortex as small punctate foci prior to polarity establishment, moving anteriorly during cortical flows. By pseudocleavage, DYN-1bFL-GFP foci were confined to the anterior half. This anterior localization was maintained throughout mitosis, similar to the localization of GFP-PAR-6. |
