| Subcellular Localization | LIN-5 and ASPM-1 were found to co-localize at the meiotic spindle and mitotic spindle poles. LIN-5 also localizes diffusely between the poles of the metaphase spindle and at the cell cortex. These latter locations sometimes stained weakly with anti-ASPM-1 antibodies; however, this staining was probably non-specific because the intensity was similar in wild-type and in aspm-1(RNAi) embryos. |
