• Pattern: utx-1 is expressed in the germline. Both the UTX-1 fusion protein and the putx-1 reporter were little or not expressed in the distal-most, proliferative part of the germline. Concomitantly with progression through meiosis, their expression increased toward the proximal end of the gonad.
