Expression Pattern :

Primary Identifier  Expr1619 Subcellular Localization  Immunofluorescence experiments using either of the affinity-purified SDC-3 antisera revealed the following pattern: SDC-3 was diffusely distributed within the nuclei of XX embryos with ~30 cells. At the 30-cell stage, SDC-3 acquired a subnuclear focus but was also diffusely distributed within the nucleus. By the 50-cell stage SDC-3 was restricted to a subnuclear location. SDC-3 protein is present in the syncytial germ cell nuclei and in developing oocytes, but is not associated with any chromosomes.
