Subcellular Localization  In the germ line, MOG-3 was found in all mitotic and meiotic nuclei, except in secondary spermatocytes and spermatids. No staining was detected in mog-3 mutants indicating that the antibody is specific. Hence, MOG-3 is a ubiquitous nuclear protein that is mainly present in the oocyte lineage.
