• Pattern: When adult glp-4 temperature-sensitive (ts) mutants, which are defective in germ-line proliferation, were cultured at a restrictive temperature (25 centigrades), rbx-1 mRNA levels were significantly decreased, compared to mutants cultured at a permissive temperature (15 centigrades). rbx-1 mRNA was strongly expressed in eggs, but decreased levels were noted for larval stage animals. A renewed increase in expression was observed for adults.
