Expression Pattern :

Primary Identifier  Expr13502 Subcellular Localization  EMB-4 is present in nearly all nuclei of the adult germline, where it associates with chromatin. The pattern of EMB-4 was dynamic throughout the germline, particularly during pachytene, where its distribution changed from crescent shaped to broadly nuclear and, at some points in development, showed localization consistent with the nucleolus. EMB-4 did not appear to overlap with P granules, where CSR-1 and HRDE-1 partially reside (in addition to the nucleus) in the adult germline. In embryos, EMB-4 was present in all nuclei, including the embryonic germ cells and somatic cells.
