• Pattern: Strong expression was observed during early embryogenesis, but transcript levels decreased and were undetectable between the embryonic morphogenetic stage and the L3 larval stage. In adult hermaphrodites, expression levels were specifically increased in the gonads. Hybridization analysis of dissected gonads revealed widespread rbx-1 expression,with high levels in meiotic pachytene cells and in diakinesis stage oocytes.
