• Pattern: unc-55-gfp was detected in 2 pairs of neurons in the nerve ring, 13 pairs of motor neurons in the ventral nerve cord, and a pair of cells in the preanal ganglion. In the ventral nerve cord, unc-55-gfp staining was restricted to the L2 and L3 postembryonic stages and occurred in pairs of cells that were usually adjacent to one another. Stained cells include VD motor neurons and AS motor neurons.
