• Pattern: The antibody did not detect any embryonic protein after the 28-cell stage, suggesting that zygotic CDC-25.1 is not present or is below detection levels in older embryos. CDC-25.1 expression was next detected after the embryo had hatched. In particular, the antibody stained only the germline precursor cells Z2 and Z3 (n 66) during the L1 larval stage.
