The protein showed a diffuse nuclear pattern in early, late and later embryos. Nuclear accumulation showing nucleolar exclusion was evident in all larvae stages , as well as in adults. No expression was detected in oocytes, as expected for this promoter. These data indicated that CeHCF accumulates in the nuclei of C. elegans cells independently of their lineage, and also throughout worm development. |
