The expression seemed to reach a high level at the early stage (embryos), declined a little at stage of larva 1 and 2 and increased again when the animal was fully developed into the adult hermaphrodite. | Remark | Throughout the animal life span, the overall expression level of CPTB was consistently higher than that of CPTA. At the embryo stage, the CPTBCPTA ratio was estimated to be ~11, and this value decreased to ~ 2 at the mixed stage.
