• Pattern: Immunostaining with a antibody against RNF-5 revealed its expression in the larval muscle dense bodies, the apical cell junctions of the spermatheca (septate junctions), and the junctions between the gonadal sheath cells and the gonadal basal lamina. During embryogenesis, RNF-5 is not expressed specifically in the developing muscle and is localized to the nucleus of most of the embryo cells.
