Throughout subsequent development, DGN-1 localizes to the basal surfaces of pharyngeal, gonadal, rectal, vulval and excretory cell epithelia, in close apposition to the underlying basement membrane. DGN-1 accumulation is more variable in the hypodermis and neurons. |
