Expression Pattern :

Pattern  GFP expression appeared in the seam cells at the very beginning of the L4 stage and continued on through adulthood. GFP was never seen in the seam cells before the L3-to-L4 transition in a wild-type background (100%, n 80 animals). Seam cell expression of let-7::gfp is significant as let-7 is normally required for seam cell development. Nontemporally regulated GFP expression was observed in other parts of the worm, including the pharynx, intestinal cells, muscle cells, and neurons. Primary Identifier  Expr12867

Major cell type of nervous tissue, specialized for transmission of information in the form of patterns of impulses. neuron neurone WBbt:0003679
Contractile cell that makes up muscle tissue. muscle cell   WBbt:0003675
a group of hypodermal cells that lie along the apical midline of the hypodermis, at the extreme left and right sides between nose and tail seam cell lateral hypodermis WBbt:0005753
any of 20 large epithelial cells which form a tube and are mostly situated as bilaterally symmetric pairs around the tubular lumen. Each of these cell pairs forms an intestinal ring ( II-IX int rings). The most anterior intestinal ring (int ring I), however, is made of four cells. Intestinal cells contain large nuclei with large nucleoli and numerous autofluorescent granules in their cytoplasm. intestinal cell   WBbt:0005792
