Expression Pattern :

Pattern  GLD-2 is poorly expressed in the distal half of the proliferative zone, becomes more abundant further proximal, and is most abundant in cells that have entered meiosis. Intriguingly, the protein expression pattern of GLD-2 does not match its ubiquitous mRNA expression pattern in the distal proliferative zone. This suggests translational regulation of GLD-2 expression. Primary Identifier  Expr11999
