Anatomy Term :

Definition  A set of three longitudinal nerves (I1L, NSML and M2L) running along the anterior/posterior axis within the pharynx, each lying within a narrow groove created between syncytial pairs of muscles. One nerve lies dorsally, in close apposition to the dorsal gland duct, while the other two nerves lie subventrally. Name  pharyngeal nerve

Expr12336 mgl-1 appeared to have a widespread expression pattern. The reporter mgl-1::GFP was extensively expressed in the nerve-ring, in tail neurons and extensively within the pharyngeal nervous system, which included the neurosecretory motorneuron NSML/R, interneurons and motorneurons.
