After hatching, YAP-1 was sequestered in the cytoplasm in the almost animals we observed. YAP-1 occasionally appeared to form cytoplasmic puncta in larvae. To more closely examine the intracellular localization of YAP-1 in touch receptor neurons, we performed immunofluorescent staining of touch neuronal YAP-1. Worms expressing GFP-fused YAP-1 under the mec-4 promoter were used for the analyses and YAP-1 was detected by the anti GFP antibody. We found that nuclear YAP-1 was detectable only in embryos. |
