Phenotype Remark  Postembryonic sys-1 RNAi results in both fewer M-lineage derived coelomocytes (in 6.9% of animals) and extra M-lineage derived coelomocytes (in 51.2% of animals) as determined by CC::GFP. Authors report that some of the extra coelomocytes on the dorsal side of the M lineage in sys-1(RNAi) animals are due to an extra round of cell division by the cells M.d(l/r)pp and/or M.d(l/r)pa. In other cases the extra coelomocytes were the result of the body wall muscle (BWM) fate of M.d(l/r)pp being transformed to the coelomocyte (CC) fate like that of the anterior sister cell M.d(l/r)pa.
