Phenotype Remark  mbryos did not localize GFPmoe to the cortex in phase I (see remarks in source section) as was see in wildtype. This indicates a cortical actin network is not formed in phase I. Remark  Authors distinguish two distinct phases of establishment of anteriorposterior polarity. The first phase is before pronuclear migration when anteriorly directed cortical flow occurs and the second phase is during pronuclear migration when the reorganization of the anterior cortical domain seems to occur.
