RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00103781 Phenotype Remark  In egg-3(RNAi) worms, normal cortical rearrangements occurred during meiotic maturation and the actin cap was indistinguishable from wild-type. However, F-actin dispersed aberrantly to the anterior side of the cortex. These experiments show that egg-3 is not required for the formation of the actin cap but is required for the polarized dispersal of the actin cytoskeleton in the cell cortex during the egg-to-embryo transition.
Remark  Exact sequence used for RNAi not stated by authors, spliced coding region sequence of gene used for curation. RNAi was carried out by injection or the soaking method, which not stated by authors.
