RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00092416 Phenotype Remark  Subsequent to TFG-1 depletion by RNAi, the endoplasmic reticulum-Golgi intermediate compartment (ERGIC) and Golgi membranes seemed smaller and more poorly stacked, and the endoplasmic reticulum became fragmented. In addition, fewer Golgi networks were observed overall. In addition, most COPII vesicles observed accumulated close to the endoplasmic reticulum and failed to migrate towards the ERGIC and Golgi membranes.
Remark  (Figure 5d) tfg-1 RNAi. Authors report testing three different dsRNA sequences to knockdown tfg-1 and all produced similar results. One selected for curation.

Identifier Name Description
WBPhenotype:0002096 golgi apparatus morphology variant Any variation in the form or composition of membrane bound organelles, known as the Golgi apparatus, that traffic material from the endoplasmic reticulum or various endosomes, and process proteins for secretion, compared to control.
WBPhenotype:0001880 endoplasmic reticulum morphology variant Any variation in the form, structure or composition of the endoplasmic reticulum compared to control. The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is an irregular network of membranes, that occurs in the cytoplasm, and forms a complex meshwork of tubular channels. The ER has two forms, rough (or granular), with ribosomes adhering to the outer surface, and smooth (with no ribosomes attached).
