RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00110632 Genotype  NMY-2::GFP
Phenotype Remark  Authors looked at the dynamics of cortical polarizing flow in the embryo by comparing this flow between wild type and embryos RNAi-depleted for the Rho GTPase activating protein RGA-3. In wild type embryos is flow is predominantly along the long axis of the embryo, while flow in the rga-3 RNAi embryo is orthogonal to this axis. Remark  Exact sequence used for RNAi not stated by authors, spliced coding region sequence of gene used for curation. No methods for introduction of RNAi given.

Identifier Name Description
WBPhenotype:0002004 actomyosin contractility defective Animals exhibit defects in the flow rate or targeting of the cortical actomyosin network, which occurs during polarization as well as contraction of the contractile ring, compared to control animals.
WBPhenotype:0001044 cortical dynamics defective early emb Little/no cortical ruffling or pseudocleavage furrow, or excessive cortical activity. In C. elegans, this is often characterized at the two-cell stage.
