Phenotype Remark  RNAi against csr-1 resulted in very faint (but correct) or no localization of CDE-1 to the metaphase plate. Sperm granules still contained CDE-1 after csr-1 knock-down, but these granules did not associate with the condensing DNA anymore. CDE-1 is normally localized to the outside of the metaphase plate. Remark  Authors state RNAi clones obtained from the Ahringer and Vidal laboratories, Ahringer clone used for curation.
