RNAi :

WormBase ID  WBRNAi00077637 Genotype  lacZ::lin-41
Phenotype Remark  RNAi results in persistent expression of the LacZ reporter in the seam cells of adult animals. In wild-type animals, LacZ staining in the seam cells can be observed from the L1 stage through to L4. The staining is absent in wild-type adult animals as a consequence of let-7-mediated repression. Remark  The lacZ::lin-41 fusion transgene expresses LacZ in the seam cells under the translational control of let-7. Exact sequence used for RNAi not stated by authors, spliced coding region sequence of gene used for curation.

1 Phenotype

Identifier Name Description
WBPhenotype:0000306 transgene expression variant Any variation in the characteristic expression of a gene product produced by exogenous DNA that has been introduced into the organism compared to control animals.

2 Phenotype _ Not _ Observed

Identifier Name Description
WBPhenotype:0000202 alae variant Any variation in the small linear ridges running along the lateral lines of the cuticle, lengthwise along the body compared to control (Wormatlas).
WBPhenotype:0000699 vulva development variant Variations in the progression of the egg-laying organ of female and hermaphrodite nematodes over time, from its formation to the mature structure compared to control. In nematodes, the vulva is formed from ventral epidermal cells during larval stages to give rise to a fully formed vulva in the adult.
