WormBase ID  WBRNAi00092828 Genotype  rde-1(ne215) him-5(e1490) [lag-2::rde-1]
Phenotype Remark  Authors found that nhr-67 functions cell-autonomously in the linker cell to regulate gonadal migration. In this experiment, authors used rde-1 mutants, which are refractory to RNAi effects, but rescued for rde-1 function cell specifically in the linker cell by a lag-2::rde-1 transgene. These male animals have a gonad migration defect, with none of the linker cells completing the migration by the L4 molt. Remark  Because nhr-67 deletion mutants have an embryonic lethal phenotype, authors used RNAi feeding on newly hatched worms to study the function of nhr-67.
