Expression Pattern :

Pattern  Expression is seen in cell bodies of the ventral nerve cord. In adults expression is seen in hypodermal cells throughout the body, in neurons of the head and tail ganglia, in cell bodies of the ventral nerve cord, and in muscle cells of the pharynx. In adults expression is seen in nuclei of the vulval hypodermis. This multicomponent pattern first shows expression in pre-comma stage embryos as a patch of anterior staining. In older embryos, larvae and adults, many nuclei througout the worm are seen to stain. In adults expression is seen in hypodermal cells throughout the body, in neurons of the head and tail ganglia, in cell bodies of the ventral nerve cord, in muscle cells of the pharynx, and in nuclei of the vulval hypodermis. This gene has homology to phosphofructokinases, presumably a general metabolic enzyme which is consistent with its widespread expression. Primary Identifier  Expr147
Remark  Other strain-- UL734, UL736
