• Pattern: Expression is seen from 3 fold embryonic stage to adulthood. Staining mostly consists of a few posterior intestinal nuclei. Occasionally anterior intestinal nuclei are also evident. Staining is strong in larvae but weaker in adults. A few nuclei, probably neuronal, are sometimes seen in the adult head. The 5' upstream region is 3.8kb.
