| Pattern | The intron 7 was dissected into two overlapping fragments, each driving a GFP reporter (pGLC65 and pGLC66). pGLC65 carries both conserved regions, i.e., C7-1 and C7-2. Examination of pGLC65 transgenic animals revealed GFP fluorescence in two neurons, namely AVG and RIF. The fluorescence in AVG was comparatively brighter and seen in many animals (55%, n=65), but RIF fluorescence was observed at a much lower frequency (34%, n=65).
