Expression Pattern :

Pattern  In transgenic animals, this reporter (unc-18::YFP) recapitulated the previously observed expression in the hermaphrodite (see Expr1518). In the male, unc-18::YFP showed the same expression in the ventral cord and head neurons, but also had strong expression in the gonad. The expression was strongest in the 'valve region', a non-neuronal tissue that lies at the junction of the seminal vesicle and the vas deferens. Expression was also present in most, if not all neurons in the male tail. Primary Identifier  Expr8270
