Expression Pattern :

Pattern  The sol-2 promoter drives expression of GFP in many head and tail neurons, including neurons that express the GLR-1 subunit, as well as the SOL-1 auxiliary subunit (Brockie et al., 2001a; Zheng et al., 2004). SOL-2 is also expressed in neurons that do not express either GLR-1 or SOL-1. SOL-2 is expressed in the command interneurons, as shown by coexpression of mCherry driven by the nmr-1 promoter. Primary Identifier  Expr10580
Subcellular Localization  SOL-2 colocalizes and is associated with SOL-1 and GLR-1 at synaptic sites.

neuron with its cell body situated in the tail, posterior to rectum. tail neuron   WBbt:0006759
a type of interneurons whose synaptic output represent a final common pathway to motor neurons. The synaptic activities of command interneurons lead directly to the control of locomotion. command interneuron command neuron WBbt:0007804
