• Pattern: This reporter was expressed in the somatic gonad, first in the SGPs during embryogenesis and then during the L2 stage in the descendants of Z1.a and Z4.p, which are the distal tip cells and their sisters. In the L4 stage, expression of the reporter was observed in the spermatheca. The R08E3.4A reporter was also expressed in a variety of non-gonadal tissues, including the hypodermis and unidentified cells in the head and tail.
