Expression Pattern :

Pattern  LIN-8 appeared to be predominantly localized to nuclei. LIN-8 expression was observed in many cells in embryos, larvae, and adults, and LIN-8 staining was particularly prominent in the germline as well as in neuronal nuclei of the head. Although diffuse within the syncytium of the distal gonad arms, LIN-8 was specifically associated with germ cell nuclei during the pachytene stage and was also localized to oocyte nuclei.
