• Pattern: Strong expression is seen exclusively in hypodermal syncytia hyp6-hyp10 from 3-fold embryo to adult embryos. Expression is stronger in anterior and posterior syncytia. wrt-8 is also expressed in 12 subventral P cells from 3-fold embryo to early L2. Expression can be followed during ventral migration of P cells and in some of their hypodermis and neuroblast descendants until early L2.
