• Pattern: Extrachromosomal NEKL-4::GFP, driven by an endogenous promoter of 1609 base pairs before the start codon, localized in the axons, cell bodies, and dendrites of the ciliated neurons in the head of the worm, as well as the phasmid and PQR neurons in the tail, and was excluded from nuclei. NEKL-4::GFP localized to the distal dendrite and the base of sensory cilia, but was not observed in the cilium. In the dendrites of some neurons, NEKL-4::GFP accumulated in patches ranging from 2-5 μm in length.
